Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free as He proclaimed the coming of the Kingdom of God and demonstrated it in power (Isaiah 61; Luke 4). Now, as the Father sent the Son, so the Son sends us in the power of the Holy Spirit to glory of God (John 20). We are to be the body of Christ, filled with the Spirit of Christ, continuing the ministry of Christ to a broken, fallen, and hurting world. So the Holy Spirit is preparing a holy bride to arise and shine with the light of the glory of God in the midst of the darkness to welcome the coming of Christ on the earth and in our hearts. The vision and calling of Messiah Ministries is to do our part in our generation by the power of the Holy Spirit to cleanse, heal, equip, and empower the body of Christ to continue the ministry of Christ by "Preparing the Way of the Lord" and "Ministering the Healing Love of God." This is the ministry of healing and deliverance -- binding up the brokenhearted and setting the captives free to be like Jesus -- through prayer ministries of spiritual transformation and spiritual direction. REV DR DILIP THOMAS and the ministry team of Messiah Ministries are serving the Kingdom of God through ministries of teaching, preaching, equipping, and prayer.

MESSIAH MINISTRIES-MESSIAH GOSPEL MISSION - MESSIAH MERCY HOME is a registered Non-profit and Religious Charitable Trust Organization that is run by Bro.Dilip Thomas and it is located in East Coast Road, Neelangarai, Chennai - 600 041. India.

The purpose if this organization is to provide aid, relief and opportunity to the needy, poor, marginalized, downtrodden, orphans, widows, to realize the God given potentials and develop them as a total person comprising body, mind and SOUL

Vision

MGM - MESSIAH MERCY HOME is a Non-Profit and charitable organization existing to care for the deprived children of Street, Slums and broken families by setting up Children Homes, Schools, Night Shelter, Health centers and other Educational Schemes.

To establish support systems for the women, children and weaker section of our society. To conduct awareness medical camp in educational programmes among the slum dwellers.

Mission

To provide a safe and secure environment for every child at risk. It is not their mistake to be born in a deprived condition.

To share God's Love and Goodness for those less fortunate members of our society.

3. ORPHANAGE

Why start an Orphanage?

God the Lord gives tasks, which we have to fulfill as obedient servant, so we accept the tasks of God and desire to work among the orphan children to provide hope for a future, and the love of a family.

What will the children be provided with?

A family setting, Education, Shelter, Meals, Clothing, Care, A good environment.

How many children are in the Orphanage?

We currently housed 14 children. We anticipate to house 50 children by the year 2015 in the Orphanage. One of our main desires is to provide a healthy family atmosphere in which each child gets attention. Therefore, we will expand according to our resources in the future.

These children now have a much brighter future, and with your help other children will benefit. Please send a contribution for the MESSIAH GOSPEL MISSION - MESSIAH MERCY HOME and help them to make the children happier.

4. NEED FOR THE ORPHANAGE

Rent expenses, The fund to purchase a place and build and own Shelter for the children, Furniture, Beds, Bed Sheets, Towels, Stationary like books, pen & pencils, School supplies, food, Medical expenses, School Fees, Transportation a van.

Others

Funds to help continue free medical care, and food and hygiene products / clothing supplied to the refugees, lepers and mentally retarded people.

Yearly support of Rs. 15000/ (US Dollars $300) - Per child.
